The Centinela Project
The Centinela Project was established in 2000 and the program's mission is to link
services offered by the USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center to under-served communities.
The USC/Norris Cancer Hospital is one of eight hospitals in the country that specializes
in all forms of cancers: prostate, breast, lung, colorectal, cervical, throat, uterine,
bladder, head and neck and GI. To satisfy the cancer needs for Los Angeles residents,
the USC/Norris Centinela Project provides comprehensive cancer workshops, accessible
patient van services, reliable consultation, state-of-the-art screenings, new concepts
of therapy, support groups and much more.
